    Error message in MPC300

I changed a Nvram controller and now comes a message saying: "this software can not be installed again. It has already been installed on other equipment. "
I got notice that this message is associated with DOS SDCard. Because when i take out the SDcard the message disappeared.
I followed all the procedure that was in the manual to change the NVram of the controller.
Is there any procedure that I had to do before changing Nvram? I still have the old Nvram. Can I still do something?
    Please help! Thanks

Replace the SD card and NVRAM if any of the following
    occurs:

    SC866 and SC868

‘This SD card is already installed’ appears on the display
    Nobody is perfect..

When you replace the NVRAM you also have to replace the DOS-Unit.

        Thank you guys.
He liked to understand ... This happens because the data are hosted in the Nvram of the controller?
Like I said, I still have the old Nvram. If i make the backup and then restore the new Nvram will it pass the DOS data to the new one?
Sorry if i am annoying but i saw this on TESSA:

Question: What to do with the DOS option when one of the following parts is replaced?
Answer NOTE: Please ensure that a DOS option can be installed on your particular model.
        Controller NVRAM
        Q. If the NVRAM from the controller board is replaced, can I reinstall the DOS unit?
        A. The same DOS unit can be reinstalled.

This is not for this particular model but for all models that can support DOS

My question is: Is this possibel? If so how?

You may have to reinstall the old NVRAM and deactivate the DOSS feature? I haven't seen this yet, but I do know you have to enable it in tech rep mode and disassembly is the opposite of assembly, right?

First I want to thank you all the help.
Already managed to get the machine working.
I put back the old Nvram and did the upload to an SDcard. Then I put back the new Nvram and copied the data there.
And its done... No more message.
