Staple Position on Aficio 551

I have just bought a used Aficio 551 with finisher, and am having a strange problem. The staple position is not correct when selecting corner staple. IT is about 2" too low. I have looked through the manuals and cannot see anything about staple position. Is it a setting I missed or a service adjustment?

Try putting paper in tray 2 in the landscape orientation (rotated 90 degrees from how its coming out now). Then print from that tray with the staple.

Is this only happening with the Upper Left Slant does it repro with Horizontal and Vertical as well?

I tried tray 2, and it jammed the paper handler in the finisher. So maybe it is the paper handler in the finisher and not the stapler. When it did staple, it was also too low. It does it on the vertical and diagonal.

I found I had the paper size set wrong when I tried it i tray 2. I tried it again now with the correct paper size, and it worked. So why does it work from tray 2, but not from the other trays?
