    MP2000 bypass

I have this MP2000 and the customer wants to print various envelopes from the bypass. But the machine always says paper mismatch, and you have to Form feed... I checked the option in Printer->system->bypass priority to Command/driver but the machine still wont print. There is one thing on the form feed menu Bypass tray is shown with a key beside it, like its locked?

    Any help would be appreciated!

Try to enable the "auto continue" in the printer options.

with paper in the bypass, press # and change the size to the envelope you want to use.

Even if you go to the printer properties and select Bypass?

I run into this quite frequently, most times it is an issue in the setup within the application unless they are not using the correct driver properly configured with all of the accessories. I've seen it where they don't add the paperbank, duplex and bypass to the driver. You might also try using a different driver (pcl6, pcl5, ps-*if postscript option is installed* or rpcs). I threw together a screenshot tutorial, hope it helps.
