    [Misc] Documents not completely printed

    Machine model: MPC2800

Problem: I am printing 385 pages of pdf file documents using pcl6 driver. Unfutunately only half of 385 pages were only printed without any error displayed both in the pc and in the machine. I have already updated all the firmware to the latest one.Any idea would be of great help.

    Thanks

      I've seen this issue before.

By default. print spooling is turned off; switch it on.

I have an account who prints huge Word docs on their MPC6000s, and this worked for them.

That sounds like a large file, what size is it? Is the driver loaded locally on the PC or the Server and does the mfp have the PS option? Do what KenB and Rsyarcia suggested and if you still have issues also try-
        • Using a PS driver if the mfp has the PS option
        • If the driver is on the server, try loading it locally on the clients PC and send it (or visa versa)
        • Print the document from your laptop directly with a crossover. If it prints fine, then you at least know the issue isn't with the mfp.
        • Turn off collate in the application if it is set (this makes the job more complicated and larger, use driver collate function if needed)
        • Change graphics to "Raster" if set to "Vector" (in the Printer Properties)

Disabling the Netware and Appletalk in the Effective protocol of the Interface Settings resolves the issue in pdf printing.
