Replace Transfer Belt in Web Image Monior

When I log in to Web Image Monitor on an MP C2500, the machine says Call Service and Replace Transfer Belt. The Belt has been replaced a few weeks ago and the counter has been reset. When you look on the display of the machine, the above message is not visible, the machine says ready and there are no errors, the machine is functioning normal. Firmware is up to the latest. I did a memory clear on the WebService/Network, NCS, and Web Application, but no result.

Anyone an idea how to get rid of this message?

    Thanks.

It has been a really long time...I seem to remember there being a toner collection (waste toner) that had to be reset in the Sims

Maybe you're logged into the wrong machine.

Double checked that, it's the correct machine.

Ricoh says it's a firmware issue but the firmware (Engine and System/Copy) is up to date.

In that case, it can't hurt to reflash.

I'll download the files again and try again. Fortunately the machine is working ok.

            Thanks!

There is an SP mode that you can switch off in 7 - Data Log. Can't remember off the top of my head as I'm sat in Sanford International Airport at the minute!
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Hit it.

Haven't solved it either. Fortunately the machine is working OK. I also did all the resets. Ricoh says it's a firmware issue, but my machine is up to date. I'll post a solution if I find one. Thanks for the reply.

I understand that you have made sure it is up to date but have you reflashed anyway?

I reflashed Engine, System/Copy, Websystem, and Network Support, still no result.

Try resetting the PM count for the 'Paper Transfer Roller' in SP mode. I've seen this before and it seems to be a firmware issue that remains uncorrected. Not only does this unwanted PM message show up in WIM, but this specific one is mis-worded. The notification will show again in 160k when it comes due again.
