    RICOH MPC 3000

    Hi,
    how can i change the serial number of machine.

      You can't. with the MPC models you can't change the sn in test mode anymore.

              We had one machine that no longer work and need to replace it with another but also old. Because the company controls these machines only through the Web monitor is very important to match dial and serial number.

                  The serial number can be altered/reprogrammed in Special Service Program (SSP). You will need to refer to you Ricoh Technical Support for futher info/guidance.

                      Swap the back cover panel that the SN sticker is on and just dont turn the machine on.
                      "See if you can rent a spring hook and a phillips screwdriver it will make your life that much easier..."

                              You can swap the NVRAM if still good or order a new one.
