    MPC5501 Printing issues

    Hi there,

    I am currently trying to setup printing on one of these machines. Unfortunately it was particially setup by an ex IT employee at the customers. The IP etc all seems fine and all users are allowed b/w printing priviliges but for some reason when print jobs are sent to the MFD it just automatically cancels them?

    Is there something obvious I am missing in terms of security?

      User codes are switched on to stop colour jobs without the corresponding code. Just switch it off.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          check to see if user codes have been turned on. user tools>sytem settings>administratpr tools>user authentication management.

          if it's activated, but codes have not been assigned, then it reacts as you have described.
