OK. here is the deal. GBC makes the BK5010 stuff right? I notice that all of the parts are unbelievably expensive on these things. I ordered a guide for a GBC Streampunch III and it comes in with Ricoh part number sticker over a Canon part number sticker. Look up the Canon number and guess what. If you double Canon's suggested retail pricing, you will find it is very close to Ricoh's dealer cost. So now my question is, who else uses the BK5010 stuff and what manufacturer models do I need to look for? Ricoh issued a bulletin for a new cutter blade assembly because they changed the blade shape to keep trimmer shavings from following the booklets out. Almost $1200 dealer cost. I can get used to the trimmer shavings on the floor for that. So entering the real world numbers, you know that if I can find the same options from someone else, this trimmer assembly will be 350-400 tops. Thanks for any guidance you can give on this one.
