Unit has less than 100K prints. Copier/scanner/fax works flawlessly. Whenever used as a printer the display will say that a paper mismatch has occured, at this point you can select the button to continue or cancel the job.
It doesn't matter what is the paper size selection you make in printer preferences, in the software or in the network driver. The end result is always the same. The paper being used in the bypass and in tray 1 is 8.5x11 portrait. Tray 2 isn't installed.

    Any insight appreciated.

User Tools - Printer Features - System Settings

Set Sub Paper Size to "Auto"

        Set Auto Continue to "Immediate"

I think you'll find that makes the problem go away
