working on Aficio3035, admin and supervisor are failed to log in. i was thinking can i copy the NVram data from another aficio 3035 copier to replace it? If so, what else should i care for? Please advice. thanks.

No, you will have to upload the current NVRAM data to an SD card, replace the NVRAM and then download the data to it. -

I could be wrong, but uploading to SD from the old NVRAM and downloading to the new NVRAM from SD will likely transfer the authentication information you're trying to be rid of. I'd suggest printing non-default data and manually entering it. More tedious and you will unfortunately loose the electronic total but you won't end up in the same boat after the SD download.Comment

Nope, admin and supervisor accounts have no password applied 'out of the box'. I don't discuss the supervisor account with customers since there is no SP mode backdoor anymore. If they inform me they are aware of it then we discuss the ramifications of 'lost' passwords.Comment
