Power cable got knocked while updating sys/copy firmware,repowered copier with sd card still in expecting it to continue to update-shows SC819. Treid the usaul ,ie 143 code,sd card in the upper slot,etc,still got the code,have ordered the Bici eprrom,any other thoughts??

The ROM update should continue automatically from the SD card once the machine is turned back on, but without the menu display. Make sure on this machine you have the Front Cover OPEN when doing the firmware updates. -

I agree with Gary, it should continue where it left off. I know when I first started on these a few months back I kept getting an Sc819 whenever I tried updating firmware until I found a 512mb SD card.Comment

Unplug the hard drives and then try the update. Last few times i have seen the 819 is was a hard drive problem. Unplug them, do your update then probably need to either try formatting them or replacing them. By unplugging the machine depending on what your doing you can hose the hard drives just like you can with a computer. Its not likely but i have seen it happen.Comment
