    MPC 2800 hanging after firmware update

    Hi Guys,
    I have an MPC2800 which is now stuck on please wait after trying to upgrade the finisher firmware, it did not load correctly first time so the process was started again, now it wont boot and is stuck on please wait, anyone else had issues whilst upgrading firmware on these?
    Networking skills are advantageous but use of a 3m vacuum cleaner is essential

      Switch the machine on with the SD card in the service slot and dip switch 1 on the controller set to ON. That will force the machine to boot from the SD card and you should be able to complete the firmware update from there.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

              Try and unplug the finisher to see if the please wait message goes away. If you still get the same message unplug the printer controllers hard drive
              switch the MFD back on see what happens?

              Also with SD card brands i always use 256mb toshiba i got them from ebay.

                  I have had the same problem on a mpc3300 in our workshop. I replaced bicu Eprom and new nvram and it was sweet
