This 4410L / 3750 fax is showing the red light next to "add toner" and "Cleaning 100%" is staying on the display, does not go away. Put the drum and toner into another machine and no problem, they work fine. Is there a sensor that I cannot find cauisng this? Or maybe the motor not turning the toner cartridge? I cheated the door and removed the toner to see if teh motor turns the toner but it does not do that, not even on the working test unit, so I can't tell if it is engaging. Thanks for any advice!

Try swapping or replacing the PCU: they sometimes lock up and give all kinds of strange add toner errors.Comment

I did take the drum and toner and put them into a test machine and they worked fine, so I don't think it's the drum or toner.Comment

I also took a drum and toner from the test machine and installed into this problem unit and it still had the red light. I see there is a sensor down inside the opening on the lower right. It looks ok - not damaged. So it is either that or the motor?Comment

Down inside where the toners goes there is a sensor arm on the left bottom. I jiggled it a little and then re-installed the toner. Did the trick. Must have been hanging up or something.Comment
