    MP C4000/5000 Scanner

I have replaced a MPC3000 with a MPC4000. The customer say's 'when scanning on the old machine you press your name and scan your doc's then put your next load of doc's in and press start, but with the new model you have to press your name after each scan'.

Is there any setting I have missed....

    Many Thanx

Go in to the SP Mode, press scanner sp, and sp mode 1012 user release info to 0, and then keeps all the info unitll the system setting timer resets.

This is the correct answer. The default scanning was changed to reset after every job to prevent subsequent users from accidentally sending proprietary/confidential information to someone who was selected by the previous user (and that user walked away without pressing "clear modes"). It's an additional security step to go along with what's required in more and more accounts (DOSS, encryption, etc.).
