An error occurred during the controller firmware update
and the machine would not boot. Error E31
The controller could not be force installed.
Replacement of the controller board did not restore machine operation.
Display: Reboot after card insert E31

were replaced as a set.

To clear an E-xx code (during firmware update )

press C/M 143 and C/STOP 3 times.
