what version of the error code are you getting? When you go into the SMC report there are 4 versions dealing with the fusing web for this code.

Most likely either the fusing belt is torn or the bearings are shot, locking up the fuser.

I've never seen it on an '01 series, but just finished installing a school district with '02s and I've had 5 Sc540s in the past week. It's the new web motor.

I've been using the charge cleaner motor and splicing the web motor harness onto it. Be sure to turn off Sp2804 or you'll get an Sc305.

Something else we ran into was jam 23s on almost all of the 9002s, no problems on the 7502s. The duplex switch actuator sticks to the blue rollers shaft. I've been adding a wrap to the actuator spring & bending the bracket up slightly. If you bend it too far, you start getting a jam 16.

Recently had the same code on a MP5054 with about 325K. PM'ed fuser (sleeve, pressure roller, bearings) and problem solved. No obvious defects with old parts.
