help please
i have a colour copier ricoh 2232c has a error code sc 471, i tried my best on transfer unit but still nothjing have done.any one with the solution help please.

SC471 is a Transfer Belt Home Positiom Sensor error. Typically, what I do (on the CL 7000) is remove the HP Sensor and blast it with canned air;there is a Mylar Shield on top of the sensor, but it is still possible for toner to get in there. Secondly, make sure the Transfer Lift (contact and release mechanism) is not binding. I hve not had problems with the Transfer Contact Motor but have replaced a couple of sensors on repeat problems. -

Either the contact motor or the HP sensor is dirty or defective.sigpic
