Scan Router for Vista
I need some help on this one. I have a Lanier LD116 and the scanner has been working great because i had a dedicated 2000 server runnning scanrouter. The server is now out of commission and i need to figure out what software to install on my vista computer to be able to start scanning again. I am a one man shop with only the Vista workstation and a Windows 7 laptop. What software do i need and where do i get it? I downloaded the Scanrouter ex pro update patch, but it says i dont have the original installed, so it wont install the patch. At a loss here...

No Scanrouter at all for Vista and win7. The only Chance you have, ist to get/build a PC with win2K or XP installed, put the Scanrouter on this one and share the Folder to the other PC's in the intranet.If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!
