    MPC3500 with printing problems.

    Hello everyone.
I have been having a problem with an MPC3500.
Once in a while the printer block with the message "receive file" and will not let me delete the job. The only way I have to put the machine working is formatting the HDD.
Firmaware has been upgraded and also all the drivers upgraded. Speaking about the drivers, this happens even when using the PCL as well as the PS.
In the last call i replaced the HDD but the problem continues ...
Anyone can give me a tip please?

One resolution I've had for this is to change the memory priority for printing from Microcrap programs, i.e. Powerwank and Publishit. Change:

User Tools / Printer Features / System Tab / Memory Priority from FRAME to FONT.

That's sorted a few odd printing problems for me. After that you'll be looking and controller boards and ram DIMM's I'm afraid.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

          Ok! I made the changes.
          Now, my question is:
What is the diference betwen FRAME vs FONT??? What efect does it makes to the machine??
I tryed to take a look in the manuals but i cant find anything.

            From the printer operations manual:

You can select the amount of memory used in Font Priority or Frame Priority, according to paper size or resolution.

            Doesn't tell you anything like!

On th MP C3500 with Memory Priority set to Frame 20MB of machine memory is allocated to processing PDL and 125MB for processing image data. When set to Font 78MB is used for PDL processing and 67MB for Image.
