    [Misc] Fading prints

I am working on a Lanier LD260C that has a problem when sending faxes and scans. The items faxed or scanned will get lighter until the receiver (as the customer claims) cannot read them. When copying, the image is light and stays the same throughout the run. That is because the original is stored in the memory and it copies the same. But the faxes and scans are very light. Any assist would help. I don't want to throw a bunch of parts at the problem and not fix it.

Did all that. I am thinking it has something to do with the CCD.

Could also be a defective scan lamp stabilizer.
