I'm not sure how quick Ricoh would be to change it, but the Factory SP mode is supposed to be for the Regional Technical Support Group (or whatever they are called in your neck of the woods) and likely shouldn't be bandied about in the open. Having said that, Google can help you find almost anything if you have half a clue as to what it is you are looking for. Knowing how to access it has saved me on more than one occasion, I'd hate to discover it has changed on some future model...

A quick look at the manual shows no entry for SP5846-46, I might have to have a look and see if there's a clue as to what this reset is actually doing.
