[Error Code] SC 326 appears on printing only

Guys, I have problem on Aficio 2035 which shows SC 326 when getting printer counter list and the print out is half image only. If I use the machine in photocopying the image is good.

Is the LD unit out of focus? If so, how can I correct it?

What else can you suggest to solve this kind of problem. Your ideas are highly appreciated

First off, clear the laser beam pitch data, then run 400 and 600dpi initial settings. If that doesn't work, change the door switches above the fuser. Failing that, new laser unit I'm afraid! Oh, and by the way - the cause of this is probably toner scattering on the LD unit, change the seals on the PCU and dev unit.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Actually, there is a toner scattering on the machine.I already replaced the seal in the PCU and in the development unit but still toner spills. I also cleaned the toner recycling section for possible paper dust but still same problem. I am going to change the entrance seal assembly (plastic with mylar) and the collection coil assembly next time.

I checked the LD unit and there was a lot of toner in it. I cleaned the LD unit but still SC 326 occurs.

I will try your suggestion to change the switches on the fusing side. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

You also should do a firmware upgrade, this can solve alot errors.

Check that the filter on top of the development unit is good and installed correctly. If not, toner can blow out there.

Printing has a higher resolution than copying. On this model there is a motor on the Laser diode assy that moves for pitch adjustment, with a photo interruptor that detects home position. Try blowing that out and recalibrate the pitch.

                Attached are the instructions
