There is no supervisor mode for SSP as far as I know.

The only supervisor I can think of is on the newer controllers which is used to reset lost admin passwords.

Can you help me about next problem:

SC 999 or “Fusing Unit Setting Error” can be shown until the device number and destination code are correctly programmed.

Contact your supervisor for details on how to enter the device number and destination code

                      Hey DaZ,

I'm having the same problem with a customer's AP3800C multi-function. SC999. I tried a hard drive on the suggestion of another tech but no dice. I'm not really a Ricoh guy but I would like to help him if I can. He's a bit of a tinkerer and even has a service manual for his unit so I'm afraid he may have fiddled with it. An "All clear" is a distinct possibility.

Can you give me an idea how to check if this is the case...and how to fix it if it is?

                      Thx.

OK, I stopped out again this afternoon and the service menu shows no english text at all and SP5-808 is 0, so I'm pretty sure this is what happened. Trouble is I can't edit that value..?

It's been awhile but I think I solved this by pulling the MF expansion out, resetting it through the printer controls, and then reinstalling the MF board.

I've been told I need to enter factory mode instead of Service Mode. Do you know how to do this?
