    [Misc] Ricoh MP5500

We have a MP5500 that we can use the scan feature but the printing feature will not work, machine was used in federal buildings, is there possible security preventing the printing feature.

Cross cable the machine with a laptop; access via browser; login as ADMIN goto security settings and check if there are any certificates, if so delete them, also check if the IT guys limited the IP range there are four setting that can be setup to limit access to the machine; if so type in 000.000.000.000 and then apply. It would be helpfull to us if you could post a config page. Good luck.

They could also have been using user codes for printing. The machine will recieve the job and then quietly delete it without printing. Turn off the user authentication features if they are on.
