Ricoh 2027 SP Controller firmware "corrupt"??sc 819

havent seen this code before but it looks like the controller firmware may be corrupt.
i have the 1022 firmwares but cant say if i have the 2027.
are they the same?
if not does anyone have the latest ver?
if so id appreciate it as im just in transit from vacation and dont have my work laptop.

The 1027 and the 2027 are NOT the same. SC819 is a 'watchdog' error, could be corrupt firmware, bad memory DIMM, HDD if one is fitted or the controller itself.

could be board connectors, i have had a few of this series random software errors and have just reseated all the boards

which version of controller firmware you have, so i can send you the right one

i just got in from sunny orlando and am gearing up to play catchup on down machines.
havent been up to the account but i figure i ll do the reseating of connectors,format the hdd
and ck for staples,sep all xtras ie. adf and sorter.BUT just in case all else fails id like to have some
firmware to reload.

Open the bypass door and check the metal name tag. The product code will be on there. Either B089 or B027

just reseated all the main brd connectors after cleaning and reseating memory and print/scan dimm failed to help.

Does the machine work if you power up with HDD unplugged?

Assuming it has one fitted.
