[Error Code] Gestetner 3265 Error SC541

Hello I have a Gestetner 3265 copier that is experiencing the error SC541, for the Thermistor, but we have put a new and the problem persists until I restart the counter, the problem disappears and then returns. Does anyone know what can be?

Are the heating lamps coming on? Have you checked the fuser socket for paper scraps?

When you reset the counter light bulbs, and the error only comes back on another day.Connector is ok.

OK, what condition is the hot roller in? and is it the correct model for that copier? If the wall of the hot roller is too thick it take just a second or two longer to heat up and that will upset the thermistor monitoring circuit.

Another posibility is the triac on the Power Supply Unit that controls the power to the lamps is not turning off quickly enough. I have changed several over the years for this problem.

Also check that the fuser cooling fans are working and installed the correct way around and that the filters are clean.

The triac is the large transistor type device mounted on the aluminium heat sink on the Power Supply Unit (PSU)

Sorry, you can't get the triacs, you have to change the whole PSU.
