    Ricoh c3000

I have a Ricoh C3000 that locks up every now and then when printing, uauall when printing from a web site. I have installed the latest print drivers but it still happens. I know this machine is one of the earlier machines produced, could I need to change the printer firmware and if so where can I find it?

    Thanks

All of the firmware is on the TSC site, Just use your Ricoh tech ID and email to log into the site. What version of firmware is currently in the device? The latest and greatest is 1.09.

I'm a end user and dont have a tech ID. The firmware is 1.02 printer, 1.47.4 system. Is there anouther way to get all the newest firmware for this copier?

I have updated the firmware on a 2232 not to long ago so I do have a basic knolage on how to update.

Sorry mate, it has been stated here a million times over that firmware is a privilege to access. Not once have I seen a member here offer or provide it. I will not provide it either.
I suggest calling a tech, should only be minimum call costs if you are not covered by an agreement.
Yeh, I know its not what ya wanna hear, but hey, how would you know if I sent you firmware for a different model, even by accident. and the whole show died. At least this way, if a tech screws it up then they can also fix it.

You can try increasing the print buffer setting - User Tools/ Print Features/ I/O Host tab (? - next to System tab).

I've done this to stop printer freezes on large color files. You can also try changing the default from "Frame Priority" to "Font" under the "System" tab. This has fixed getting blanks where I should see overlays, but it might help.
