Hello, please help.
I have to login to the user tools, but the admin\blank and the supervisor\blank does not work.
how to reset the code by default.

No, that only reverts all settings to default, but it leaves authentication settings intact.

Just buy an NVRAM, but first copy the contents of the 'old' NVRAM to an SD-card. When the new NVRAM is in place, copy the contents of the SD-card to the new NVRAM.

The NVRAM from your other machine holds all the settings of that machine. It's not recommended to place that NVRAM in another machine.

I'd be careful with the backup and restore recommendation, the admin password setting you are trying to be rid of are very likely to be transferred over (I have had this happen) and you will then have two useless NVRAMs. It is more labour intensive but I'd suggest printing all non-default data and inputting all relevant SPs manually. Note the counter will be lost, record last known meter so the true total is maintained.

I would not recommend using another machine's NVRAM as mentioned already.

I thought passwords are never transferred when doing backups? If this can happen then it may be a good idea to input all default setting manually.

In Aficio 1060 I inserted the NVRAM vice versa , turned on the copiers, turned off and inserted the NVRAM correctly. So did reset NVRAM. What do you think?

I think it's asking for trouble in the near future...

The NVRAM hold very specific settings that are unique for a machine. Messing with NVRAM's is asking for trouble!

supervisor is not accepted !
