    USB cardreader problem

I have a Ricoh MP6001 problem with this problem.
The customer has a card reader to access the functions of the machine. My problem is that the machine loses contact with the card reader. Tested the updated firmware, changed the controller, switched card reader, but still loses contact with the machine reader. If i disconnect the usb-cable to the reader and connect it again the machine function for a moment.
When the machine loses the communication with the reader, the cardreaders indicator light is dead.
Disconnect the usb for a moment and tre reader lights up an function again.
