    lanier ld020 (copyprinter)

Hi guys, i know its the copier forum, but do any of you guys have any experience on the copy printers by ricoh?

I went to one that was leaving marks on the backside of the copy, the ink seemed to be getting on the reg roller, i cleaned it, then it got dirty again. So i looked round the back, touched a solenoid and it went clunk. from that moment i cant get the drum out!!! and when i look inside, the cloth around the drum is torn!!!, Now it wont work at all!!!!

Any ideas as its now giving error e -06 (drum movement).

i knew i should not have touched it lol.

push down on reg roller, front and back, it should click back in to place and you will be able to rotate drum manually to home position, give reg roller a good clean, customer has most likely been copying on both sides, and the ink has rubbed off on to reg, remove torn master and you should be good to go.
