ricoh 2090 hardisk problem

hi friends

this is henry and i had 5 ricoh2090 machineds with hadrdisk complaint . i replaced with new hardisks but it wont work.pls let me know the installation procedure and firmware for the same

What SC-codes did you had? If replacing the HDD's in 5 machines won't work, the HDD isn't causing the problem.

i am sorry in all the machines the hdd are problem .... duplex sorting functions are not working....pls share how to resolve the problem

the machine is working properly without duplex and sorting functions..... i replaced with new hardisk also but it wont work

tray to format hdd from machine use
SP 5832-001 HDD Formating ALL then turn OFF then ON

You have FIVE machines with the same problem?!?

What happened before the problem?

Did you upgrade the firmware on all machines and THEN see the fault?

Are you getting something like "Error 32"?

Disconnect the LCT and Finisher on one machine, load new system and engine firmware AT THE SAME TIME (select BOTH from the list).

Refit the LCT / Finisher. Does that work?

I assume you are NOT trained on this machine then?

If you're having HDD-problems then you must have an SC-code or a 'Please Wait' message.

But not on 5 machines unless somebody did something to all of them!

You're right. Maybe he put in the wrong HDD's. There's not enough information to say something reasonable about this.

Odds on it's botched firmware, maybe engine / system installed out of sequence?
