    RICOH 3035 New touchscreen won't work

    After recalibrating customers flakey touchscreen it wouldn't work at all. Had a two new ones in car so
    tried them both but no help. I had this same scenario with a 2022 a year ago. On that one I replaced the whole control panel, wire harness from control panel to board, every pcb in copier and it still did not fix
    the problem. Luckily, the customer was billable and ready to upgrade so that took care of that problem. Not so lucky in this case, customer under m/a and NOT ready to upgrade!
    Has anyone gone down this road before? I know there were issues with the touch screens. Before
    calibrating it at least worked, somewhat. Any help MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance.

      I hate to be the one to ask, but did you put the screen in upside down? I've done it myself a few times. I've never had one not work straight out of the box though. Which touch screen are you fitting, the H310 9900 one?

          Check the part numbers if it is for that model.

              That's a legitimate question(it wouldn't be the first time I've done something like that!). I thought that I put it in correctly but now I am questioning myself. I am going back tomorrow so will check. As for the part number, it is the correct one. When this happened on the 2022, I took a whole control panel from a working machine and installed it but it didn't work. The whole thing drove me crazy and didn't want to have to repeat the process. Hopefully I screwed up installing it like you said, in my haste to fix it. Will let you know tomorrow. Thanks.

                  went back and made sure screen in properly which it was. Also tried a whole control panel from working machine but no help. All that was done before the screen stopped working entirely was calibration: clear modes,1993, clear/stop five times then adjustment in screen. Doesn't make sense, any ideas? Thanks.

                      What's the part number of the screen you're trying to fit?

                                  The new screens were at my shop. Also tried the other ocp.
