    SPc430 printer

How do you get into service mode on this dog? Usually it is On Line and Escape and power up but there is no On Line button. I tried serveral combinations but none worked.

While the machine is on press and hold the up and down arrow keys, count to five really slowly, then press enter.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

No problem. Rue the day you have to change a toner pump on one of these buggers too, it's not a nice job. Apparently it happens when the PCU's aren't seated correctly, toner shutter doesn't open enough, blocks up coil, overloads motor and takes out IO board. Joy!
