Troubles setting up SMB scanning on a MPC4501. When selecting "browse the network" from the control panel, it comes back with a "can't find specified path". I didn't enter a path, I wanted to browse for a path. I've set this up on a bunch of machines like this with no troubles. Printing works fine. All firmware is up to date. Anyone got any ideas about this one?

Re: MPC4501 "can't find specified path"
Out of curiosity, what happens when you put \\(computer name) in and then browse? My first thought is it's a network rights issue, did you input valid network credentials before trying to browse?the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.

Had to have been a weird network issue. I booted the machine up this morning, and all is well. I hope it stays that way.NEVER ASSUME ANYTHINGComment

Re: MPC4501 "can't find specified path"
LOL. i cleared NCS memory yesterday which turned DHCP to on. ( I had it set to a static ip) The guy I worked with informed me of this a little bit ago. Between the memory clear and reset to static IP solved it. F.M. x 2
