Aficio 3245C - Light bands/ toner specks

I have recently taken over service on an Aficio 3245C, which I previously replaced only the black PCU, several months ago, and it has been working fine. I recently was called back for black toner dropping onto the page, as well as light bands repeating throughout the copy. I replaced the development unit which had become quite depleted of developer and was causing the light banding problem, and it was also time for a black PCU again, so I replaced it too. Only a few weeks later (after 5000 copies or so), the same problem has returned. The developer has been depleted, and therefore doesn't have enough coverage across the mag roller, and there seems to be too much toner to be carried by the limited amount of developer so it is dropping down onto the copies.

Hi Sandy,

Replace the Black Developer Clutch, and put a new development unit. This is a known problem for this model.

Replace the Black Developer Clutch, and put a new development unit. This is a known problem for this model.
