2228C black and white blurry prints and copies

Hy guys,

Need some advice. 2228c only 3K total counter prints and copies blurry all the small text. Larger black images and fonts are ok.

I'm confused a bit as your title and message seem to contradict themselves, but here's a shot. If it's just the black images you're having trouble with try replacing the pcu and developer for the black. If all of your colors are "blurry" you might need to adjust the color alignment on the machine. If so here is the bulletin for the adjustments. There is a flow chart to follow and shows what to adjust based on engine print outs. It would be helpful to see an example of your issue to better assess the situation.

I very much doubt a machine of this age has only 3k on it, if it does then the dev and pcu are probably in a shit state cos they're so old and have perished. I agree totally with cobiray's answer.
