    MPC2051 - SC672

    Hello,

Following the printing problem with a client. I change my controllercard photocopier (MPC2051) with that of a photocopier nine(MPC2551), is not quite the same cards. I had the code SC995-03.

So I put the controller card but the original code SC 672 appears and no way to start the machine.

The photocopier was working before the exchange of cards, justa few problems printing. But now I can not start it.

I check all the connections (dismantling and assembly 4 times).

    Have you any idea?

    Re: MPC2051 - SC672

So the original code was SC672- defective controller board.

SC995-3 -incorrect controller board fitted. (MPC2051 and 2551 are fairly different.)

Get the correct controller and see how ya go from there.

Yes thank you, I find that information about the SC codes.

      But my problem is:
My copier was working fine, there was just printing problems (butnot from the copier, but the network, information that I learned AFTER the permutation of the cards ).

So the original card worked very well. I exchange with a card MPC2551, so code SC995-3, normal because it is not the same cards, but when I reinstalled the original card -> SC672!

And that's where I do not understand!

I try to change the hard drive, but no results. I will try to change some cables that look slightly damaged, but I doubt it is this.

      Do you have an idea?

SC 672 could be a lot of things, try to turn the machine on without, HD, fax board, and see if sc ocurrs, then try to plug first HD, and fax board after, had this problem yesterday, was fax board not fit well.

            Dear Thanks for the reply

We replaced controller board that removed from brand new machine but problem remaining same, then we re fixed the controller board to new machine then the new machine also has same issue ( SC672 )

you have tried turn on machine without HD and Fax board?you can enter in service mode?machine freeze at "please wait" screen?I know that service manual says sc 672 is related to communication between controller and operation panel, but for my experience, never was. always this problem is related with HD, RAM memory, fax board or other peripheries.

PS: You had two machines with same issue now?that su**s.
