Hi everyone. I had a call on a MP4000 that is jamming at the registration roll. I think I solved the problem but when I respond to a call like this I allways check the data log to verify the number of jams, paper size, and where it occured. The log said 0 jams. Customer said the jam occured 5 differant times, allways on a recieving fax and allways at the registration roll. Is there a reason it did not log as a jam? Maybe a fax setting? Its a long time customer and I'm sure they know what they are talking about. Appreiciate any suggestions...thank you

does it have a bridge unit? if it does then replace both push switches on the front of bridge unit. -

One of the door switches is causing the jam. When a door switch is causing a jam, you won't find it in the jam history.Comment

Actually, it will show the jam but it will be logged as 001 power on jam. I've also had to replace the push switches for the side door and front door switches on some models. Since it's got the finisher/bridge combo you should update the firmware to address the open door timing as well.the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.Samir: No, not again.
