black dots on the opc drum

    hi.
i have aficio 1045 drums and even if it hasn't reach its copy life yet ex. 100k, i see black dots on the drum already and can be seen on the copy.
may i know what causes the black dots on the drum and how it can be prevented?
    thank you.

Hi, check on the life of the developer & charge roller, also original or compatible toner.

the black dots on the opc drum is not cause by the pick off pawl and it can't be removed even if i use a scratch remover on it.
it looks like the small dots are underneath the coating of the drum.
