i had ricoh 2090 now its appear error code sc990,
when we take the back to back prints only its apper what i need to do. kindly help me please

its not come in copying process, its come only when we give back to back prints, single side print dosen't had problem, and copy and print quality also good.

look my friend if image faint or blurred replace drum cause 990 and check out toner hose and coil that be certain that toner validity if yo use bad toner make stuff or staking up in glasses also but that is last assume software problem but rarely do that machine this trouble ...

no my dear this info not written in service manual or any way no reference in book no reference in any where else this info acquiring by experience service manual write alot of threads only thanks

Hey, look at the hard disk, try to change it, I have had problems in these models with hard disk and I have marked the SC, luck

Hi, i have the same problem on an aficio 1075. But it only happens when I install the printer/scanner dimm. Any ideas?

If multiple confidential document storing jobs are executed one after another while a printing job is going on, the SC990 printer error occurs.
Upgrade the printer software to B5806515A (ver. 1.20) or later
SC990 (Software Performance Error 1) appeared when a document of more than 120 pages was printed from the document server with chapter sheets inserted.
This error occurred with documents that exceeded 103 sheets.
GW Controller Ver. 5.05....
1. upgrade all firmware
2. check HDD,memory, GW controller.
