Ricoh A1022 "Unknown word" print from PC.

Hi all,whats the problem when my client wanted to print their document from PC but they getting a weird wording printed out from the PC such as:xxxxy@#$%%%%&* on the top part of the paper.Only the top part get the weird word,middle until bottom still clear and clean without any words.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?They using parallel port to connect from PC to copier.Hope to hear from the pros...Thanks...

What printer driver are you using?It seems some of the characters are not recognized correctly by the printer driver.

Using PCL6,izzit problem with the driver version?

Drop the PCL 6 driver as fast as you can: it's known to be buggy and unreliable. PCL 5 is a much better choice, or if the machine has PostScript use the PostScript driver.

Sure, go ahead and try the RPCS. If it works, your good to go, although I think Ricoh may be dropping the RPCS driver.

I think they already have.
The only driver I install these days is the 5c/e. I dont even bother with the pcl6.
