mpc4500 sc 669-17

customer is complaining that the machine sometimes switches itself off meaning its starts to reboot. i printed the logging data to see what code it gives and it gives a sc 669-17 and sc991.
iv had a look in the manual.
Turn the main power switch off and on.


what can this be?? what is an EEPROM?

also they are getting a sc991 alongside.

Reseat the EEPROM, install a line conditioner, replace the controller

EEPROM= Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory.
