    Faint 9945DP

I am no copier tech, but I like servicing my own machine. I have just done a thorough cleaning in the lower section of the copier and now my copies/printing is faint. I would appreciate any help.

    Thanks

When you say your copies are faint, is it the entire copy, one side or through the middle?

Yikes, that's a machine I wouldn't recommend working on unless trained to do so. Sounds like you may have a poor connection to the transfer belt unit (located on right side door when you open it). There are two springs that make an electrical contact with the transfer belt unit that are located at the rear of the door opening on the machine side that may be bent out of place or may have fallen off during cleaning. I would start there. But not knowing exactly what was taken apart and/or cleaned. It's hard to say exactly what's going on.
Don't take that toner with me!
