Why would Ricoh have a finisher that folds and staples an 11 x 17 and 8.5 x 11 and will does not give you the option to fold an 8.5 x 14 to 7

Mainly since Half Legal is not a standard paper size. HLT/A5 DLT/A3 are both standard page sizes. Legal paper is one of those strange sort of paper sizes without an analogue in the rest of the world, so why add a feature for one market when the fold logic board will adapt quite easily to A4/LTR?
