R2022 feeder problem

Hi all,
I'm junior tech for ricoh machine,i just to knw why i use the feeder to copy but the print out have black background at the center.b4 this i had try using intern-er print and portal print but the print out is ok. Anyone can help me to solve this prb???

Have you cleaned the optics and exposure glass?

yes, all i do it ady...but stil like that,i ever try move and adjust the mirror in the scanner there,i found it the issue i mention can settle but once i off the machine and on back,the same prb stil come back.

look as yo say print out is ok this threat must be in scanner clean it firmly clean mirrors and reflector and lens and detect that scanner didn't get any service code if yo have more info tell us .do yo take copy from feeder or scanner directly

Are the copies clean if you make a copy from the glass? If so, then there must be an obstruction, or some dirt on the filter glass

ya,the copies is clean when i copy on the glass.finally i choose to change whole scanner from other machine and result is black background issue really can solve and i suspect the scanner out of position.

One thing to try before going too far with ordering parts/boards etc, get hold of the scanner under the left front corner and lift it upwards a bit. It might be customers leaning on the scanner has caused it to drop slightly at the corner where it isn't supported.

This was more of a problem on the 1035 type machine but hey, if it doesn't work you've only lost a couple of minutes.
