I'm just hoping they can get them to run as well as the 2035 and 3035 series models. So far, they have been total garbage. I have one that really crapped the bed a few weeks ago and I want it to go away in the worst way.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.
Michael Bolton: You and me both, man. That thing is lucky I'm not armed.

      Haha!!

      I know the feeling.....

      ..2035

..Customer removed the inner bung of the toner bottle and ran it for a good while

      ..SC322/326

..I arrive, flip down the front cover of the machine and instantly look like I've spend a good eight hours at a coal face. Customer expresses vocal concern at the state of their previously pale coloured carpet. I resist the urge to throttle her with the hose of my vacuum.

..After an hour or so of vaccing out, careful cleaning of all the lenses and mirrors, a new sync board, LD board, door switches, poly mirror motor and a good portion of my precious remaining sanity the f***ing thing still is giving sc322/326.

And I'm going back in the morning with a complete laser unit I had in the garage waiting to go back......fingers crossed.

I guess overall these (and most of Ricoh's stuff) machines aren't as bad as some I've dealt with.

What bugs me is that a lot of Ricoh's tech bulletins require replacing parts
(mag rollers, developer, etc). But they rarely offer warranty for these parts (that wouldn't have to be replaced in the first place, if not for the design flaws), even though they admit the problem.

Another pet peeve is the constant changing of part numbers. What a pain. Seems like every time I order parts or toner, something has changed.

I think if they took a hard look into their technical, parts, and supplies management, they would find a lot of room for improvement.

          just my 2 cents

          Regards

they seem fine so far at low volume but im afraid they are already causing problems
                  when they hit over 100k.
i have had issues with removing the grub screw at the end of the web roller as
it seems to be locked tite requiring me to replace the whole web assembly
also grey back ground and sc304 after only 70k on a few of them, the only fix
so far is to replace the dev and to completeley vac out the PCU and to clean the
mag roller and after doing that you only have to wait another 70k to do it all over
again. (there is a fix in the pipeline)

My gut feeling is that the developer or toner will need a change in the formula to actually fix the problem. I'm hoping I'm wrong on this one.

There is a TSB regarding the issue also. # 012 or # 007 if you're interested.
I had the same problem....swapped the connectors yellow with white on transfer unit problem went away...Richeyrich
