MPC 3000 with SC-195 after EEPROM replacement on Controller board

Hi Guys

I have been working on this box for over a week, My first issue was SC995 which after a long drawn out saga turned out to be the I/O board. I have since replaced the I/O board but also replaced the EEPROM on the controller board and now i am getting an SC195 error and when i go to Service mode everything is in Japenese and i cant put in the serial number.

Has anyone any solutions???

when you replace the I/O board check the dip switch on it. compare it to the old one. that's the reason why the language is japanese. sometimes the 1 and 6 is on. maybe also that's the reason why you are getting the sc-195.just an idea.

Hi buddy,
Was stuck in MP3352SP after replacing BICU and controller, the serial no. Found your post. I'm not a Ricoh tech but ur guidance help me out.
