    MPC4501 Warming up on display

I have got an Ricoh MPC4501 which displays 'Warming up' when switched on and does not arrive at READY.

BCU replaced, firmware has been upgraded, HDD disconnected.

    Any ideas?

Have you looked into the wall voltage? It may be that the machine is getting either a dirty power line, or isn't getting the juice it needs. Also make sure the plug is directly into the wall and not into a surge protector or some nonsense like that.

You seem a little fresh for somebody asking for help. We dont know whats "basic" for you. All of the suggestions were not mentioned by you as having been tried. You should instead be grateful for any and all posts.

I have encountered one problem in other model of Ricoh colored machine. The machine was not getting ready for sometime. It took several minutes before it registered an error.I found out the error was caused by the defective thermistor and thermostat. Have you also checked the fusing section of the machine?

Yes fuser checked. Its a brand new installed machine.

It orginally had an error code of sc672 related to BCU, HDD etc. But now just says 'Warming up'

I'm going down the route of IPU or possible 3rd party software i.e equitrac. Java script causing the issue.

You're just plain rude man! There's no need to respond to anyone in that tone, no matter how "basic" you may think the answer is.
