Best color copier to start out with

I have been servicing and selling Ricoh B & W copiers for the past 11 years but have not yet started dealing with color units with the exeption of a few random service calls over the years.

My question is what would be a good box to start out on for a color newbie.

I see a lot of the MPC2500's coming back as lease returns, is that a good starting point or maybe back an older generation or 2.

    Thanks

They're a good place to start because all Ricoh small to medium colour boxes are basically the same layout. All the bits are in the same place anyway. You only start getting different layouts when you get to the 60cpm+ boxes.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Totally agree MPC 2500 range is good reliable box, just beware of using compatible toners, they maybe alot cheaper but they shorten pcu & dev life considerably.
