can anybody tell me how to adjust the color (or black and white ) from side to side only in copy mode. When you print the prints are fine.

Clean the optics, they are the only difference between prints and copies, mirrors, glass, lens, etc

its light on one side all the way down the paper

CTO. Since the fuser is just below the carriage home position you may have to use a solvent such as SelSol on the mirrors.

after cleaning , do auto color calibration (on user tool)

Laser is used in printing as well as copying.

the same resolution but not the same gradation....only clean if optics clean d'ont work of course
